In front of your mirror, take a seat

Yes of course, but those are just words

Do you like what you see?

Funny, because from your thoughts you can't flee.

It's your head that brings you down

And these thoughts, they make me you drown

And the way air felt in your lungs; you've forgotten

But changing all of this won't start with a push of a button

But then again, you can.

Start every day with a plan

Change your mind and find a way

To keep yourself in this life, to stay

To face the fear that's pulling you inside

to the deepest, darkest parts of your mind.

Know that these thoughts will come and go,
