I Lie Then Die a Little

I lie then die a little inside

I don't admit I'm a master at lying
Just an escape from the wistful reality

How I'm gulped in a whirlwind of taunts... How I'm choking on sawdust... The unleashed myth gripping tight by fist

I do lie for a defence
Not knowing the consequence.    Never have I ever figured it was a jiggling penny

How could naivety be revived, a scrutinizing crime?
Guess it's more of a worthless flung by a dime

I lie for I got no chance
I lie for I got a ruthless lance
I lie because I'm out of demand
Because I function by only this command.
