Cairo Pop's Products are Popping with Colour!

Cairo Pop is a rising Egyptian clothing brand, founded by author and illustrator Danny Arafa, which sells an array of versatile and colourful Cairo-inspired products. They combine culture with fashion to create beautiful designs that are most certainly to die for!

From bags, to shirts, to bucket hats, they’ve always made it the center of their attention to depict and portray the essence and soul of the Egyptian culture with illustrations like Alam Simsim, Zaghrat, and Torshi. When asked about what inspired the designs for Cairo Pop, Danny expressed how he had always wanted to explore designs that reflect everyday culture as Egyptians. 

“I wanted to celebrate Egyptian food, entertainment, and nature.” He added, “I’ve always liked wearing clothes with elements of western culture like video games or food like tacos and pizza, so I thought why not have the same thing for the Egyptian culture.”

He has been recently working on a Baladi dogs collection, with profits going to different organisations for each season, to help raise awareness of the cruel treatment of baladi dogs in Egypt.
