love at first 'sight'.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?"

I looked at him, squinting my eyes in thought.

"When you think about it, there's nothing really called love at first sight. Yeah, maybe you see someone and admire their looks but that's it. Admiration. You don't get to love at first sight, it's more of a love at first night call or at first argument. Maybe you both end up alone in a library and fall in love at first favourite book rant. You know, the possibilities are endless."

"Yeah, but why are you against love at first sight?" He raised up both his eyebrows, taking a sip from the half-finished coffee.

"You don't get it, do you?" I lightly smiled, "First sight means appearance and we don't love at first sight. We fall in love at first soul touch. It's a known fact to the universe."

"So, when do you think our souls touched?" He placed his coffee cup down with a glistening smile, his green eyes meeting mine.

"When you donated your left kidney to my younger brother."

"But we've never seen each other when that happened; I was just a stranger who wanted to donate his kidney to another stranger who extremely needed it."

"Exactly. The only stranger who agreed to give up his kidney to a sick boy. I wanted to thank the mysterious donor in person; his soul is too pure to not be touched."
