Sadness

What I’ve come to learn about sadness, is how much of a profound emotion it is. How you can sense it in every single part of you. A strange coldness that spreads throughout your whole body.

To me, sadness is a heavy emotion. There is an extent to sadness where you can feel as if you’re walking with weights on your shoulders. Like you're assigned heavy labor on an icy night in the desert.

However, I do believe that the sensational thing about emotions is how they create different experiences for all of us. You have your own stories about excitement, sadness, happiness, disappointment (oh how heavy of an emotion is that one too), or love.

That’s why anyone can write about the same emotion, and it would still sound different.

Feelings may look like a curse, but they’re an uttermost blessing.
They’re the reminder that you’re here to feel insanely alive.
Insanely happy.
Insanely excited.
Insanely curious.
Even insanely sad.
