Through the eyes of the oblivious lovers

His hazy eyes looked through the transparency of the glass
The air in front, behind and all around her seemed to move so fast
Faster than his heartbeat that could potentially lead to an attack.
She was finally here, finally back.
Relief turned to grief for what they had.
Those hazy eyes were stared at.
It felt like nostalgia for love was what they shared.
For all the heartache they ever bared.
Their broken hearts completed each other.
But, wait a minute, does she really bother?

The glimmer around her faded away, as her aura changed
Her feeling exposed, and red blood rage
Plotted her delicate features like graph
The bright girl who seemed to have it all planned
Had a tear in her eye, but still managed to laugh.

Those coffee eyes kept her up at night
Those pesky fights led this to all the 'bye's
Why was he back? She wondered again.
Would she have to die and say
she doesn't love him to dull the pain?
A familiar thump rang on the floor,
"Can you meet me by the door?"
