Sometimes

Sometimes, things are epic. Your heart's small flutters tickle each rib gently, nimbler than the adrenaline coursing through your easy-flowing blood, which jolts the excited sweat to your palms every time your crush says hi. The feeling of your own aura intensifies, and your consciousness comes alive ironically when you are being applauded by everyone in your graduation party. You feel cozy, and the feeling of safety is unreal.

Sometimes, you do something adventurous, thrilling, and most importantly, new. Your humble figure is spiked with thoughts of fear, love and anything really. Anything so intense your head feels like it was under the sun's radiations on a Florida beach, and anything that can turn those small delicate butterflies into flapping wide-winged bats you dread. You can imagine them with the horns too for extra dramatization, but they aren't so bad. Not every time, to be fair. Doubt and fear are an evil pair.

Sometimes, things will be, or already are, tiring. When your body becomes numb all of a sudden, and nothing feels like everything all at once. Oh, and everything feels like nothing too. Pricks of cold test your skin, and your patience, for a sign. An empty show with only you, a roaring crowd and a lost script. Do you ever wonder whether your guitar stays up at night wondering why you cry yourself to sleep? Well, It doesn't matter because thinking minds around you seem like one, hollow with no empathy. Their curiosity will kill them, and go feed your cat. It might die too.

Sometimes, your wish comes true, and you feel an ache. A heartache is so strong it makes you curl up in the bathroom stall in school. You wish to not feel all over again when your legs tremble from your own horror story, whether based on a true story or not.

Sometimes, you will be lifted from the ground to a kind face. One in a million of those around you, and only one is enough to keep you going. Until that one in a million is yourself, hold on, and hold on tight.

Sometimes, hope will be the only thing you will ever need, and your untroubled days will be surely revealed.
