Red Queen: The Series You Must Read Before The Movie Comes Out

As of 2019, books becoming into movies has become quite a common phenomenon. More and more novels are being transformed into live actions films such as 'Five Feet Apart' by Rachael Lippincott, 'The Sun Is Also A Star' by Nicola Yoon and 'The Death Cure' by James Dashner. Red Queen takes more of the fictional action side, it's a brilliant mix of 'Divergent' by Veronica Roth and 'The Cruel Prince' by Holly Black.

PLOT:

The story takes place in a future version of the USA (Florida didn't make it, everybody say bye Florida) where humans have drastically differed. Like common white supremacism nowadays, a certain group of people have dominated the Red Queen world, evidently known as Silvers. People with Silver blood are each born with a specific power that their 'House' or family are recognised for. As for the minority, who are known as Reds (red blood, yes you guessed it) are seen as fragile and good for nothing except serving the Silvers.

With her best friend being sent to fight in the war for being unemployed, Mare Barrow decides it's time for them to escape this injustice and refuses for her best friend to be doomed to the same fate her three brothers were. That's until the heir of the throne calls for her to serve Silvers in the palace, and with a little more drama throughout the story, Mare discovers nobody is who they say they are, not even her.
